This virtual museum was developed in order to promote the natural heritage elements with the aim of reconnecting local communities with their cultural values, as well as for tourism purposes.
The territory of the Local Action Group ”Ținutul Zimbrilor” is characterized by a unique blend of nature and spirituality.
Vânători-Neamț Nature Park – located mainly within the municipalities Agapia, Bălțătești, Brusturi, Crăcăoani, Vânători-Neamț, Răucești – is a protected natural area designed for sustainable forest management, preservation of characteristic landscapes as well as cultural and spiritual features, the reintroduction of large wild herbivores to their natural ranges and the promotion of tourism based on these values.
The spiritual value of the area is linked to Orthodox Christianity. About 40 monasteries and hermitages with a threefold value (religious, cultural, historical) can be found within the territory of the Local Action Group ”Ținutul Zimbrilor”.
